Trolls are people who spam or write off-topic messages in chat rooms, internet post and blogs. They also post pictures and random videos of things. Trolls are usually post things that are talked about on social media. For example when there is an election trolls post negative aspect opinions about the people getting elected. 

Trolls post this face as a sign of trolling.

They try and make technology look bad by posting negative things about people. This impacts technology because it makes us look bad even though we don't troll people.
